What’s included in a Logo Suite?
Three design options for a primary logo; a secondary logo, word-mark logo, and icon logo will be designed based on the chosen primary logo. Two rounds of revision on each design are included.
What are Identity Elements?
The visual and verbal components that make up a brand identity. For example, the tone of voice, tagline, logo, color palette, typeface, patterns, textures and imagery.
What is a Direction Board?
A visual collage of images, colors, fonts, and other elements used to communicate the overall aesthetic and stylistic direction of a design project.
What is a Creative Brief?
A short written summary of client goals, project purpose, and other details pertaining to the creative project.
What is a Style Guide?
It’s a comprehensive guide on the elements of your branding typically used for reference, especially when creating consistent marketing material. When you receive a style guide from me, it will typically include a logo or full logo suite, color guide, typeface guide, and any print and/or digital guidelines.
Can I substitute items in the packages?
No, packages are designed so that you receive exactly what is listed. You are welcome to add an individual design to a package order.
What is the design process for a single logo?
If you request a primary logo design, I will create three options/concepts for you to select one final design. Two rounds of revision on each design are included.
Can I add another design to my order?
Once our contract is signed by both parties, no additional items can be added to that order. That is because there is a timeline which I must adhere to out of consideration for you and other waiting clients. If you wish to make an addition to your project, I would be happy to draft an additional contract with you which would secure the time required to fulfill your request.
What if I don’t see what I want listed on the Services webpage?
Please contact me anyway and let me know what you’re wanting to order! I’m always open to new projects and ideas.
Do you coordinate or assist with the printing process of paper items, etc?
No, I do not. It’s the client’s responsibility to connect with a vendor on their own and place their own order. I only make the design of what is to be printed.
What type of payments do you accept?
Before I begin any project, we will first come to an agreement on total price and when payments are due. The Client Portal on HoneyBook.com is where you will go to pay your invoice. Major credit cards are accepted. If you prefer to use Venmo please let me know and we can make arrangements.
Why is the BGD logo on my design?
That’s because it isn’t a final version. Once I have made any necessary revisions and you approve the final draft, you will receive a design without the watermark logo. At that point, the design is final and yours to keep.
How will we keep in touch throughout the project?
Initially, we will communicate through email. Once you’ve signed a contract with me and I’ve received your deposit I will provide you with my phone number for texts and/or calls. I ask that I receive your phone number at that time as well. However, the majority of communication will be through email since that is where I will be sending your design files, invoices, etc. You are always welcome to use the Scheduler on HoneyBook.com to set up a phone call or web chat.
